Introducing the newest member of the Visitor’s Card team, heeere’s Jasper!
Jasper comes to us from a kill shelter somewhere in Arkansas by way of a Minnesota rescue organization called One Life At a Time. They do some fine work, so if you need a worthy cause to steer some largesse to, check them out.
Jasper weighs 15.1 pounds, has all his shots, and is so friendly and confident with all other beings (cats, dogs, kids, adults) that he has already won over my slightly neurotic cat. Birkenstock, whom you’ll remember as the suspicious gray cat who wasn’t sure what she thought of Huggy Jesus, has already consented to being near him and is less likely to bolt that she was even three days ago.
I have no idea what his religious beliefs are, but he’ll want to go to the Blessing of the Animals at the Basilica of St. Mary in Minneapolis this October. He also believes with all his tiny heart that it’s time for him to go outside.
